Recognising innovation in iSIM, industrial AI and fleet technology, the winners of the IoT Global Awards for 2026 have been selected.
Following a rigorous evaluation by an independent judging panel of industry analysts, standards specialists and media specialists in the sector, the winners were announced today as the companies and individuals who are actively reshaping global connectivity and edge intelligence.
The 2026 IoT Global Awards Winners are:
Securing IoT: Wireless Logic | AI-powered security for IoT at scale
Connected Health or Wearable Tech: KORE | KORE OmniSIM™ and ConnectivityPro®
Automotive, Transport & Travel: Wialon | Wialon
Big Data, Cloud & Analytics: Atombeam | Atombeam Neurpac
Connected Consumer & Smart Home: Altair Semiconductor, with MIXI, Inc. and JENESIS CO., LTD. | Japan’s First iSIM Kids GPS Tracker, Powered by the ALT1250
Industry & Construction: UMH Systems GmbH | United Manufacturing Hub: The Open-Source Data Foundation for Industrial AI
Research & Development or New Launch: Proximus Global | Sim for Things Secure Sovereign eSIM
Start-Up, Business Development or Ecosystem of the Year: KDDI Spherience | Global IoT Center of Excellence for KDDI Group
The 2026 winners role-call spans specialists from device-level silicon and connectivity architecture to industrial data infrastructure and operator-scale ecosystem development.
No less than three of the eight winning entries directly address the SIM. Altair Semiconductor’s award highlights a live consumer iSIM deployment in Japan delivered with MIXI and JENESIS, Proximus Global’s focuses on sovereign eSIM provisioning and KORE’s recognises multi-network SIM and connectivity management for connected health.
This concentration reflects a broader market maturation where the form and governance of the SIM has transformed from a mere procurement choice into a foundational design decision, a shift IoT Now has closely examined in its coverage of why the industry needs iSIM and connectivity orchestration.
The remaining categories were captured by standout deployments in industrial data infrastructure, fleet telematics, data compression and analytics, network-scale IoT security and ecosystem development.
“Names are changing, innovations are flourishing and the IoT industry is now a critical enabler of intelligent operations across industries and around the globe,” said George Malim, the managing editor of IoT Now. “What hasn’t changed is our industry continues to be the best at getting – and keeping – things connected, enabling operational visibility at massive scale and supporting robust, secure, reliable deployments. This expertise is reflected in the IoT Global Awards 2026 winners which have risen to the challenges of AI, the opportunities of embedded and integrated SIMs and the reality of the mature, wider IoT ecosystem that is enabling and optimising modern business, society and our lives. Many congratulations to the winners and to all who entered. Certainly in the category I judged, it was hard to pick a winner and that’s a symptom of the vibrant, inventive and mature marketplace we’re now in as on-device intelligence grows, expectations skyrocket and IoT technologies are central and critical for the next wave of innovation.”
