Quectel unveils latest IoT innovations at CommunicAsia 2024

Quectel Wireless Solutions is showcasing its latest innovations at CommunicAsia 2024, held on 29th – 31st May in Singapore. Demonstrating its work in enabling reliable connectivity for a wide range of applications, including smart cities, automotive, industrial IoT and consumer electronics, Quectel will be presenting the latest line-up from Quectel including 5G, Smart, Satellite, GNSS and Automotive modules, alongside LTE-A, LTE, short-range and LPWA technologies.

Attendees will be able to experience a number of demonstrations using QuecPython, a running environment for executing Python code, specifically designed for the Internet of Things. The solutions on show will include a Large Screen Scheme for an electric two-wheeler vehicle, using the Quectel EC600U and EC200 modules, Smart Wearables and a Smart Watch solution using the Quectel EG810M module, and finally a BG95 EVB, built around the BG95 module.

QuecPython is a dedicated runtime environment, specifically designed to meet the unique needs of the Internet of Things (IoT). Other applications on show at the event will demonstrate QuecOpen, an open-source embedded development platform based on Linux, users can simplify the design and development process for IoT applications. Quectel’s commitment to security is reinforced by strong network identity authentication and data encryption measures, ensuring the protection of IoT solutions.

Attendees at CommunicAsia can also expect an immersive journey at the Quectel booth, where pioneering IoT solutions will be unveiled, showcasing Quectel’s dedication to shaping the industry’s future:

  • CHD – An all-in-one compact POS system powered by the EC25 module.
  • Daviscomms – Elderly monitoring solutions utilising the SC20-A smart module and EG91-NA modules.
  • Lynxemi – Cold chain asset tag using the EG800Q-EU module.
  • Ransnet – 5G wireless routers incorporating the RM500, RM520, RM521 and RG530F modules.
  • Tack One – A global location tracking application (Tack GPS Plus) and a flood monitoring solution (TackEVO FloodFinder), both utilising the BG95 satellite module.
  • ZH Technologies International – A metrix IoT enabled Meter Interface Unit – powered by Quectel EC600U and BC660K-GL Modules to provide the world’s most robust, resilient and versatile Smart Water Metering Solution.

Attendees can find the Quectel stand at 4G1-6 in the Singapore Expo venue, Singapore.
