SIMCom launches a new wireless module

SIMCom is launching what is reported to be an ultra compact and reliable wireless module SIM7100E-PCIE based on Qualcomm MDM9215 multiple-mode LTE platform.

The SIM7100E-PCIE is a complete multi-band TDD-LTE/FDD-LTE/WCDMA/GSM/GNSS module solution in miniPCIE type which supports LTE up to 100Mbps for downlink and 50Mbps for uplink data transfer. It is combined with a SIM7100E module and  a  miniPCIE adapter board.

It is said to have strong extension capability with rich interfaces including USB2.0, SIM card, PCM, etc. With abundant application capability like TCP/IP/FTP/FTPS/HTTP/HTTPS/SMTP/POP3, the module provides much flexibility and ease of integration for customer’s application.

Among the features of the SIM7100E-PCIE are:
